Developers

The Webscape Adaptive Framework is an easy-to-use system for content editors, but developers are also catered for. Ease-of-use for developers has been one of the key design goals from the beginning of the development of WAF.

Visual Studio integration
You can get a simple site up and running in a couple of minutes. Unzip the installer archive, start Visual Studio, select Open Website. Navigate to the correct folder, and press run. Voila, WAF is up and running.

Simple API for developers to learn
Relatively simple websites can be set up with very basic training. If you have ASP.Net and Html experience, you'll be cranking out impressive websites after a few hours.

Cutting-edge architecture
When we began planning of the .Net version of WAF in 2005, we spent a lot of time researching different architectural ideas. We then combined what we believe are the best arhcitectural ideas for a web application framework with all the experiences we had from the two previous generations of WAF.

Standard .Net technology
While being a platform on the cutting-edge of technology, we have worked hard to keep our footprint as small as possible. WAF can be used in conjunction with the built-in ASP.Net controls or the many controls from the different component companies. This means that your ASP.Net skills will be an important part of any project using WAF.
